Our smiles can be a real pain in the backside. I’ve always found it bizarre how many ndividuals are born with crooked, twisted, impacted teeth. What happens here? Every other aspect of our body seems to fall neatly into place. So many people end up needing braces. I am certainly now grateful that I wasn’t one of them.

But both my daughters require braces on their teeth. At least if they want their teeth to look straight by the time they’re in high school.
